My name is Jeffrey Hillinger A.K.A. Moldy Marvin. I am 54 years of age, live in the Los Angeles area and have been very active not only as a builder but an advocate in the Kustom and Hot Rod industries. I come from a graphics arts and special effects background to include live production and technical direction. Since 1999 I have successfully produced a wide range of cultural and automotive affiliated events under the names of MoldyShows, Kulture Shoq Studios, Ratfinkparty.com and Automated Entertainment. Most of them located in Southern California but also include parts of Utah and Nevada. In regard to my personality as Moldy Marvin I'm pretty well known within the industry and have consulted as well as have been featured on a variety of automotive affiliated TV shows and webcasts. My parents were both very active in the automotive scene and I'd say except for Ed "Big Daddy" Roth they were my biggest inspiration. I've restored and kustomized several cars throughout the years and I plan on continuing till the day I leave this here planet! I've got experience in Fabrication (Welding) Body & Paint, Wiring, (Some Interior) and a bunch of other stuff that gets it down the road! As a technical director I've become very good at understanding what it takes to pull together a group of people in order to accomplish shared goals. The best tools that we have are our God given skills and the talent that comes from each other. When folks work as a Team there should be no such thing as weak link, each person has the capability of being a leader and should show leadership, respect and compassion toward each other. The weakest link in a team is found when one does not participate!
