| Michelle "Miz Raven" Maynard Since a young child Michelle has been exposed to and loved the world of Classic Cars. Her father Maurice Maynard was known all of over New England for his Corvette expertise. Her family moved first from Rhode Island to Mission Viejo, California and finally to Fallbrook, California. Her first car was a 1979 Camaro. She started taking basic automotive classes at Palomar College. She finally ended up with a 1972 Chevy
Suburban. At this time she dove head first into the automotive department at
Palomar College. In addition to the mechanical classes she took During her down time she began to take up the
art of pinstriping. She started out with books and DVDs. Palomar College
offered an airbrushing class in the summer and she took that and discovered
her natural talent towards the creation of automotive portraits. She was invited to her first GNRS Pinstripers reunion where she was fortunate to meet Tom Kelly. After her second GNRS she was able to have the wonderful experience of working with Tom at his shop a few times to learn more about pinstriping. She also worked at Lone Wolf Garage hot rod shop in Fallbrook for a year. As the years have gone on Michelle has been featured in many different publications as well as "Living the Low Life" tv show. She currently is working on her beloved 1969 Cadillac hearse. She works with her father at his machine shop
operating the milling machine, teaches yoga and She finished her AA in automotive technology in 2010. |
